We had a fantastic Christmas Eve celebration at our house! The cousins had so much fun getting together. We had delicious food and some really fun games.
The children made little nativities with their dinner. They had a pretzel stable, french fries for straw, and hot dog wrapped up for baby Jesus.
After dinner the kids got to decorate Bryan and Jennie. Bryan was a Christmas tree and Jennie was a snowman. Then, we had the nativity!
Henry, Emma, and William put on a wonderful bell performance with Grandma. I was so impressed with how well they did! Then, all the grandkids got to do the shoemaker song.
Later, the adults got to share in the fun with a present unwrapping game. We wrapped up gift cards in several layers of paper, packaging tape, and duct tape. We took turns wearing snow gloves (if you rolled a certain number on the dice) to unwrap the gifts.
By the end of the night, I think everyone had a blast and went home exhausted. William and Henry were excited to spend our first Christmas at our own house. They set out cookies, milk, and carrots for Santa and his reindeer. I was pretty surprised at how easily they went to bed. I guess they were pretty worn out from the party too.
