*Carter loves to be outside. It's getting colder now, but for most of the summer through October, every night after dinner he would crawl around outside. He loves to play with his brothers in the sandbox, swing in his swing, etc. His favorite outside pastime is to pick and eat tomatoes. If he can't find the red ones, he settles for the green ones. He calls them "balls" just like William did when he was that age.
*Carter LOVES his brothers! He loves to crawl into their room at night after we have put them to bed. He also loves to climb the bunk bed ladder to get up to William's bed! It's so scary. We have to keep a close eye on him...
*He is so sweet and cuddly. He loves to give open mouth kisses. When Nathan or I pick him up to take him to his bed he will put his head down on our shoulders. It's very sweet! He also has sensitive feelings and will make a frown and pout if you hurt his feelings.
*He says the words momma, dadda, more, ball, "ooh ooh ahh ahh" (the monkey noise), uh-oh, and "oooh" and "dut" when he is interested or pointing at something. When we put up holiday decorations he loves to point at them and show them to Daddy when he gets home from work.
*William is the best older brother! He loves to play with Carter and has a great friendship with Henry. He is always drawing pictures for Henry. They usually picture the 3 brothers with their names and ages. It's so cute!
*William is really becoming a great pianist. He has memorized several piano songs and loves to play his keyboard for fun. He is also becoming a great reader. He has made a lot of progress over the past 2 years in reading! It's finally "clicking".
*William loves to be silly and play dress up.
*Henry continues to be a very fun-loving and mischievous little boy. He loves to be silly. He is very busy and if he's not engaged in a "good" activity, he may be getting into trouble. However, I have found that this energy and busy personality really has some benefits. He is the biggest helper! He helps with dinner and chores, runs around the house to get things or put things away, and is almost always willing to help one of his brothers.
*He LOVES crafts. He spends hours during the week drawing, painting, creating, playing with play dough, etc. His attention span for crafting seems almost unlimited.
*He seems to be very spiritual for a 4 year old. He always wants to be the one to say family or meal prayers. He was sick recently and he asked me and Nathan several times to say a prayer with him so that he would feel better, not throw up, etc. It was very sweet!
* Carter got his first haircut! He still has very little hair. And the hair he has is very blonde. I basically trimmed half an inch off over his ears.

Me and the boys on my 30th birthday! I'm old now!
Nathan put together an amazing day!! He took the day off work and we went shopping, got pedicures, and just had so much fun spending time together. Nathan gathered letters and memories from all of my family members for a very special birthday gift. Amanda put them into a book. I LOVED it!! It is one of the most amazing gifts I have ever received. What a wonderful hubby!

This pictures is upside down somehow... This is a song that William wrote. He titled it "Wills."
Carter wants to do whatever his brothers are doing. William was mopping and Carter wanted to as well. He found this in the broom closet and started "mopping" the floor too. He doesn't miss a thing!
