Weekend Outings

Since December was such a busy month at work for Nathan, he couldn't take as much time off for Christmas as he wanted. So, he decided to take another Friday off in January to have a break. We decided to do some fun trips to local musuems to make it feel a little more like a vacation for him. William had so much fun!
We went to the Children's Museum and got to play with all of their neat toys. This is in their Construction Zone. Nathan wheeled William up the stairs in one of the wheel barrows. When Wills was ready to go down he got back in the wheel barrow for Nathan to take him down. It was pretty funny!

Unfortunately, I could not get a picture of him smiling in the children's museum. He was always too involved in whatever he was playing with to look up and smile!

He loved riding the life-size horse. (At least he's looking at the camera in this picture.)

They have a child-size supermarket there. He loved pushing the cart around and getting food. His favorite part though, was putting the food up on to the cash wrap. (This is his favorite part at the real grocery store, too.)

Playing with Dad in another cool car

The weekend before that we went to the dinosaur museum. William had just as much fun with the dinosaurs as he did at the Children's Museum. He kept running from the different display cases saying "rock" as he pointed at all the rocks. There were also bugs and prehistoric fish that he enjoyed pointing at.

All in all, we had so much fun! We are so happy that William is old enough to enjoy these outings. We hope there will be many more to come!
