Henry turns 5!

I cannot believe that Henry is 5 years old already! We had some of the Bleak family over for a birthday dinner for him. He doesn't really like cake, so we did ice cream sundaes him instead. He loved picking out 5 different toppings for them. He was so happy to get a remote controlled helicopter from Grandma and Grandpa, and a Pokemon tin from Grammy. He also has really enjoyed his excavator toy for the sand box. William gave him some squirt guns, too. On the day of his birthday we went to dinner at Brick Oven. What birthday would be complete without Brick Oven??

I can't believe that Henry is growing up so fast. He will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. He is learning how to read and is doing awesome at it! He is often a huge helper to me. He is so great at helping to pack the diaper bag, fill water bottles, grab snacks, etc to help us get out the door. He is also very good at cooking. He can do so many things in the kitchen by himself like making a sandwich, cutting and washing fruit, microwaving some things, etc. He still challenges our patience sometimes with his "silly" side. He eats so much!! And, it is definitely reflected in his growth chart. I'm so grateful to see the compassionate, loving side of him really blossom over the last year. He is a fantastic big brother to Carter! He will help him get in and out of his high chair, get him food and drinks, and, unfortunately, encourage him to do naughty things every now and again. Overall, he has a very tender and sensitive heart and we love him for it!

At 5 years old here are his stats: Weight 50.7 lbs (He has officially passed William) 94th percentile, Height 46 inches 96th percentile.
