Carter at 6 Months

Boy does time fly! I can't believe this little boy is already 6 months old. It's gone entirely too fast. He has 6 teeth!! It's crazy. He got the first 2 around 5 months and 4 more came in soon after. It was rough on both of us to get so many teeth so quickly. He did not want anything to touch those swollen, sore gums. Oddly enough, he started sleeping through the night when the teeth started to come in. He slept really well for a week or two and then went back to his old ways of up once or twice a night. It is constant sleep training around here. I'm sure it will pay off at some point. On the bright side, somehow my ears are so tuned in to him crying that nothing else wakes me. I do not hear if William or Henry has a bad dream and I definitely don't hear Nathan's alarm. But when Carter makes a peep, I'm awake trying to determine if he will go back to sleep on his own or not. It's an interesting phenomenon.

He is really starting to move around. He can army crawl now. It won't be long before he is exploring everywhere. He really likes toys. He loves to sit with his bin of toys and look at each one. He is so much fun! This is the beginning of my favorite baby stage. I'm trying to soak it up.

At 6 months here are his stats: Weight 16.6 pounds (31st percentile), Height 27 inches (66th percentile), and Head 17 inches (45th percentile).
