December Festivities

As usual, December was a busy month. Carter turned 4 months old. He started sleeping a little bit better. He is super sweet and smiley. He loves his brothers! He is always smiling and laughing at them.

William and Henry had some adventures... They LOVE to play and spend time together. Every night after we put them in bed they are up to tricks before they finally decide to fall asleep. In this picture they were playing "hos-bottle" as Henry says. Henry was pretending to have a broken leg and William took very good care of him. One night while I was at Walmart doing some grocery shopping they got into some trouble. They were down with their Little Tikes trucks playing in the basement when Henry had the idea that they should take their cars to the "car wash". They drove over to the wet bar and sprayed their truck down with water. On the carpet. For who knows how long. Nathan discovered a flooded basement. We spent hours mopping up the water with every towel we own and then pulling up the carpet to make sure we could adequately dry everything. Then, we called our new neighbors to try and find some fans to finish drying the floor. They thought we had had a pipe burst. Umm, no. Not quite.
At 4 months old here are Carter's stats: Head 16 inches (21st percentile), Length 26 inches (86th percentile), and Weight 14.4 pounds (28th percentile).
Everybody pitching in to help give Cartier a bath.

We decorated a really cute Mickey Mouse gingerbread house.

We had a couple of really good snow days. The boys got to try out our sledding hill in the back yard. Unfortunately, it was so cold that they last 15 minutes total outside. On another day, Nathan stayed out with them and built a really cool snow castle.

And we had fun opening up our presents from Grammy and Daddy Monk before we left to celebrate Christmas up north!
