I was driving around downtown with the boys and William kept noticing signs for a mummy exhibit at a museum. He really, really wanted to go. We went home and talked to Nathan about it. We were both concerned that the exhibit might be a little too gruesome for a 4 year old and a 2 year old. We did some research online and found a few youtube videos about what is shown. After watching the videos, William and Henry were even more excited! It was so funny. They wanted to watch them over and over again. So, the next day we went back and saw the whole thing. Henry was a little scared of some of the mummies, but fascinated by most of them. They had people and animals that had been mummified from all over the world. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience together. I was so happy that the boys showed that much interest in attending a museum. They really loved every second we were there. We couldn't take pictures in the mummy exhibit, but afterwards we walked around the rest of the museum and took some pictures there.
Another cool thing we did there was to make our own short movie. You shoot a frame and then move the people, and when you do that enough times it looks like they're moving. After the museum we ate at Cheesecake Factory and played at the Disney Store. Fun day!
