Henry had his 9 month check up last week. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. A friend picked him up on Sunday and said "Wow. He's really solid." Haha!
Here are his stats:
He is crawling and getting into everything! At 7 months he started army crawling and then by 8 he was into full blown crawling. Now at 9 months he is pretty fast. He is extremely busy! He loves to kneel (like this) and pull everything down that he can reach. He crawls up stairs and pulls himself up on the couches, the ottoman, William's bed, the dishwasher, my legs, etc.
He LOVES the kitty and she is so good to him. He follows her around a lot. He really enjoys splashing in her water and making a huge mess with her food. Sometimes William will say "It's ok, Mommy. I'll clean it up and then it will be your turn."
He has hair and we love it! It's getting long and I know he needs a hair cut, but I can't bear to cut it before he's 1 year old so it's just going to be shaggy. It's getting so long that it's starting to curl at the end and it's just so cute! We do this comb-over everyday to manage it. I told Nathan that he has Donald Trump hair and he agreed. :)
This is our favorite thing that he does right now! He does a really big squinty smile. He intentionally squishes his face and squints his eyes when he's really happy. He has 2 teeth on the bottom and his top 2 teeth are almost poking through.

Henry just adores William and wants to do whatever William is doing. William has been growling/roaring at Henry. It used to scare Henry, but last month he learned how to do it back! It's pretty funny to hear such a menacing growl out of such a tiny baby.
Henry loves to smile and laugh. William makes him laugh almost every day. He has a very sweet personality. He is still very much a Momma's boy. He really doesn't do well with big, loud crowds. He follows me around for a lot of the day. He is the happiest on my hip. What a joy to have him in our family!
