I always enjoy Valentine's Day. When we were little, my mom used to have someone doorbell ditch presents for us and it was always exciting. Nathan and I celebrated a week early. Kristen and Andrew watched the boys for us while we went out for an entire day! It was so much fun! We got a couple's massage, went shopping, went to a movie, and ate lots of good food. Nathan planned it and he did such a great job!
On the actual day, we opened our socks and treats from Bunny and Didn and exchanged some small gifts. We did attempt to start a new tradition this year. I sewed little felt mailboxes that hang from our kitchen chairs. Through the month of February we wrote love notes to each other and put them in the mailboxes. At dinner we would read what people wrote to us. It was fun. Hopefully, William will get into it a little more next year.
