Unfortunately, Kellie is in the hospital right now! To sum up the last week she was not feeling well and went to the doctor on Thursday. I talked to her Thursday night and felt that she wasn't getting the care that she needed. So, on Friday morning she went to a doctor that I recommended, went to the hospital for a test an hour later, and was admitted to the hospital an hour after that. She has a pretty bad case of preeclampsia, so she will stay at the hospital where she can be monitored until little Emma is born. She's 31 weeks on Monday. We are hoping and praying that she can be pregnant for as along as possible!
Everyone's taking turns keeping her company at the hospital.
Kristen even painted her toenails today! Kristen really doesn't like feet so this was a pretty big act of service. What a nice sister!
So sorry to hear that..hope she is able to keep the baby in there as long as possible.. My friend actually went to the hospital last friday because she was told she had preclampsia. her protein levels were in the 3000 and wouldnt come down along with high bp and low o2 levels... But she only made it a week before they took the baby this past Friday she was only 33 weeks. now we hope that the baby will continue to do ok... prayer for you family too!!
Way to be Auntie Stephanie, RN. I can't wait to here the story from you. I hope that little girl stays in for a few more weeks at least, but at least she's already at 31 just in case she has to come sooner rather than later.
Oh, I hope she can stay pregnant for awhile longer, although it is not fun to be stuck in bed. I can't believe her doctor didn't realize what was going on! Good luck Kellie!
Poor Kellie! I love the way she is still smiling! Hang in there, Kellie and Cade! It will all be worth it when you walk out of the hospital with a beautiful baby!!!
