End of the School Year

The end of the school year is a bitter sweet time for me. I am so proud of what William and Henry have accomplished this year. I can't believe another school year is over. We loved watching William in his music recital. He played "Scale In and Out" for the recital and sang several other songs with his class. Before the recital started he and Henry were talking to one of our friends and I caught them holding hands. It was really sweet.

On the last day of school the boys got to make cars for a "drive in" movie day. They had lots of fun creating them with Daddy. They were definitely the most impressive cars of the preschool. Around 10pm I told Nathan that I was going to bed and that he was welcome to stay up and finish the cars with the boys as they pull their first "all nighter" for a preschool project. It was just so much fun for all of them that they didn't want to stop.

William and Henry also had their end of year preschool program and graduation. They both looked so handsome and grown up. I was so emotional to see William in a cap and gown! I kept thinking preschool graduation today, high school and college graduation tomorrow! They both did a great job in the program. Poor William was pretty sick the day before so he missed the rehearsal, but you would never have known. He did everything perfectly. They also painted a beautiful canvas work of art. We were so grateful that Grandma came to support them for their big day.
