We spent Christmas this year with the Bleak side of the family. We got to meet baby Jaxon for the first time. It was definitely a full house, especially with the 5 grandchildren.
On Christmas Eve we had a great dinner. Then we played chimes, sang Christmas songs, exchanged our handmade "gifts from the heart," and read the nativity story. Gayle gave me a really neat apron with all of my boys' pictures on it. I absolutely love it! That night William fell asleep watching The Polar Express. I was so happy that he did! He has such a hard time falling asleep most nights, let alone Christmas. Our movie plan worked!
This year Christmas fell on a Sunday. I absolutely love going to church on Christmas. I just think it's fitting. It was a little tricky though, because their meeting was at 9 am. Luckily, the boys did very well. We got them dressed in their church clothes right when they woke up. Then we went downstairs and let them look at what Santa brought and their stockings. I think they were still half asleep so they didn't mind when we packed them up 15 minutes later to go to church. After church we had a delicious breakfast and started in on the presents.

For my gift to Nathan I made a quilt out of all of his BYU intramural championship t-shirts. I'm really happy with how it turned out. Gayle helped me tie it. Nathan really loves it. I thought he would like it, but I kept having nightmares as I was making it that he would be upset that I cut up his precious shirts. I'm glad that didn't happen!

Christmas wouldn't be complete for me without eating baby food with my cousins! They called me to skype a few days after Christmas so we could eat it together. It made my holiday :-) Thanks for thinking of me!

2. That quilt you made for Nathan is beautiful! I have seen so many Tshirt quilts people make and that is the best I've ever seen. You are so incredible to make it.
3. I love that you took a pic of our baby food skype! Best tradition ever!
