My mom came to visit in December for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert. We had a lot of fun while she was here. We took William to his very first real basketball game! It was so much fun and he totally loved it. He knew most of the songs they played and sang along which was hilarious. We made sure to feed William lots of good food, too. We had nachos, popcorn, a hot dog, ice cream, and soda.
Before Grammy left we opened presents together. Everything was going well. Henry got some really cool cars and then it was William's turn. He was super excited to open his next present. He unwrapped a cd player and some read along books with cds and then burst into huge tears. He said "I thought it was a toy!" Oh dear. So sad and so embarrassing! As things blew over a few days later, he really fell in love with the cd player. He can listen to his favorite songs and he loves to listen to books on it. It was a really thoughtful gift.
And by the way, Henry really loves chapstick and lip gloss.

It must be a trend in our family to love Shauna/Grammy's lipgloss. Remember the one time Stanton snuck into Shauna's purse and smeared bright red lipstick all over his face? hahaha so great.
