Festival of Trees

William is on a penguin kick right now, so he chose to have his picture taken in front of the penguin decor.

In the beginning of December we went to the Festival of Trees which is a fundraiser for Primary Children's Medical Center. They auction off some amazing donated items to raise money for the hospital. We are so grateful for PCMC. We went to this event as a fun holiday family outing and to support Primary's. Nathan and I were surprised by how emotional we both were as we looked at the trees and other items that were donated. A lot of the items are made in memory of children who have spent time or passed away at Primary's. Words cannot describe how grateful we are that our little baby survived. The skilled doctors and nurses at Primary's are a big reason that William is as healthy as he is today. As cliche as it may sound, our lives are forever changed from that experience. Primary's will always be very special to us, even sacred.

I was starting to think you all planned to match, but then I saw you're wearing purple. Come on, Stephanie!:) Sylvia helps out with festival of trees each year (though not for the hospital) & it's fun to go and look at everything.
